The energy efficiency of public lighting systems is one of the most recent interventions of interest for Public Administrations for the purposes of reducing energy consumption, reducing CO2 emissions and complying with current regulations.
La Mercurio has structured a working group capable of supporting the PA and interacting with the Companies and ESCOs of the sector, in the complex redevelopment process, from the redemption phase of the plants of third-party entities to the design, financing, implementation and management of the interventions.
The support extends to all aspects related to Public Lighting, such as the analysis of the current state (census of the systems, estimate of the residual value for the purpose of possible redemption, study of consumption), the drafting of feasibility studies and definitive and executive projects, the identification of sources of financing or the analysis of the feasibility of implementation through the Public Private Partnership instrument.
The main objective is to bring the lighting system up to standard, reducing light pollution, containing climate-altering substances and at the same time guaranteeing significant energy savings to Public Administrations that are increasingly sensitive and attentive to environmental policies.
